Doyle Dykes

Doyle Dykes is arguably the most gifted fingerstyle guitarist alive today, and his performances are unique.  Doyle has played with Les Paul, Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Duane Eddy, Peter Frampton, John Fogerty, Vince Gill, Eric Johnson and many others.

When asked about Doyle, Chet  Atkins replied,

"Doyle is one of the finest fingerpicking guitarists around. I sincerely admire him as a person and as a musician. "

— Chet Atkins, CGP

Arlen Roth

This guitar legend is considered one of the most influential guitarists of all time. Arlen has toured the world with countless acts and recorded with them as well. This includes artists such as Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Phoebe Snow, Levon Helm, Ry Cooder, John Sebastian, Janis Ian, Eric Andersen, The Bee Gees, Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, Joe Bonamassa, Brent Mason, Brian Setzer, Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, Happy and Artie Traum, James Taylor, Kate Taylor, John Entwistle and many more.  Arlen and  Ry Cooder were the music consultants and behind-the-scenes players in the cult classic movie, Crossroads.   Fun fact: In 1978 before just performing on SNL with Art Garfunkel; Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi invited Arlen to jam with them. Arlen taught Belushi the lyrics to "Rocket 88", which they performed that night, which became the genesis of the Blues Brothers.

Jim's touring schedule has taken him to over 30 countries throughout the world and he has performed with a roster of artists as diverse as Kenny Loggins, B.J. Thomas, Brooke Shields, Emmylou Harris to name just a few, at the Grand Ol' Opry, the Forum, and Royal Albert Hall.  His T.V. appearances include:

    What players are saying

"My Bowen guitar is truly a joy to play! I have been loving recording and performing with it, and it is extremely responsive to all the notes I love to play on it. Lovely feeling neck profile, built super solidly, but also a fine and delicate work of art. I'd recommend Bowen Guitars to anyone!"
